Caprice Resources Intersects High-Grade Gold Mineralization at Western Australia Project

Caprice Resources (ASX:CRS) Caprice Resources intersected gold mineralization in multiple areas, including Vadrians, Baxter, Golconda, and newly recognised mafic-hosted quartz veins at its Island gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing. The results were up to seven meters at 15.4 grams per tonne gold from 268 meters at Vadrians and seven meters at 10 g/t gold from 119 meters at Baxter, with the results reinforcing confidence that the mineralized footprint extends well beyond the original Vadrians discovery and is developing into a broader gold mineral system. The company's shares fell 2% in recent Monday trade.

Caprice Resources Says Western Australia Deposit Metallurgical Testing Confirms Amenability to Gravity, Carbon-in-Leach Processing

Caprice Resources (ASX:CRS) said results of initial metallurgical testing undertaken on the Vadrians deposit at its Island gold project in Western Australia confirmed the gold mineralization is highly amenable to conventional gravity and carbon-in-leach processing, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.A representative high-grade fresh mineralization composite sample returned overall gold recoveries of 94% at a normal grind size with rapid leach kinetics and moderate reagent consumption, with recoveries of 92% still present at a coarser grind.Gravity gold recoveries exceeding 33% support the future potential for a simple, low-cost processing route.
