Bannerman Energy (ASX:BMN) said the bulk earthworks contract is advancing in line with schedule, with around 92% completed at its Etango uranium project in Namibia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.The contractor workforce on site now consists of over 560 personnel. The production of heap leach drainage aggregate continues to deliver on-spec material, with around 29% of the total requirement completed.The civil and mechanical design for the dry plant is around 94% completed.Its shares rose 2% in recent trading on Monday.

Bannerman Energy's (ASX:BMN) partnership with CNNC Overseas, a unit of China National Uranium, has aged well since its first disclosure, noting both the surety of build funding, as well as continued challenges faced by emerging producers, Euroz Hartleys said in a Wednesday note.Bannerman retains 40% offtake rights independently and is now funded for the Etango-8 build in Namibia in partnership with a leading utility with a significant operating presence in the region.The investment firm maintained its speculative buy rating and lifted the price target to AU$5.10 per share from AU$5 per share.

Bannerman Energy Says Early Construction Works Program at Namibia Uranium Project to Continue Through H1

Bannerman Energy (ASX:BMN) said the execution of the early construction works program at the Etango uranium project in Namibia is planned to continue through the first half, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.The bulk earthworks contract now stands at around 67% complete, the company said. Civil and mechanical design for the dry plant is around 93% complete. Design work on the wet plant is focusing on design optimization test work.The company said the completion for its binding investment subscription and joint venture documentation with CNNC Overseas, a unit of China National Uranium, for the funding, development, and operation of its Etango project is targeted for mid-2026. A final investment decision on the project is expected to be taken shortly thereafter.Bannerman Energy's shares fell 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
