Aris Mining Starts Construction of Puruni Bridge in Guyana
Aris Mining (ARIS.TO, ARIS) began construction of a permanent bridge across the Puruni River at Puruni Landing in Guyana, it said in a statement on Tuesday.The 109-meter modular steel bridge will provide a permanent crossing in addition to the existing pontoon crossing, it said. The company expects the bridge to improve connectivity for communities, businesses and other users of the Puruni corridor.Aris is undertaking the construction of the bridge in coordination with the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Public Works and other relevant agencies, and expects it to be completed by December 2026.US-listed shares of the company were last seen down 0.9% at $19.86 in pre-market trading.
