UBERDOC Health Technologies to Change Name to Apptly Health Technologies
UBERDOC Health Technologies (APPT.CN) intends to change its corporate name to "Apptly Health Technologies Corp." it said on Thursday.Its flagship consumer platform will continue to operate under its established UberDoc brand, it said. With the name change, the company plans to focus on scaling its specialist network and speeding-up consumer adoption, exploring opportunities to expand the range of services, products, and strategic partnerships available through the platform, and growing its institutional channels.The company's common shares are expected to continue trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) under the symbol "APPT" and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under "4KL0" following the change. The corporate name change remains subject to approvals and acceptance by the CSE and is expected to take effect on or about June 23.The company also said that Sean Kearney resigned from its board, effective June 9.Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at $0.29 on the CSE.
