Zijin Mining Group's (HKG:2899, SHA:601899) attributable net profit jumped 68.2% to 39.2 billion yuan in the first half from 23.3 billion yuan a year ago, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong stock exchange.
Earnings per share climbed to 1.434 yuan from 0.86 yuan a year earlier, the mining company said.
Operating income increased 15.8% to 194.2 billion yuan from 167.7 billion yuan a year ago.
On Friday, the company distributed an interim dividend of 4.20 yuan per 10 shares for the six months ended June 30 to eligible shareholders as of Aug. 4.
