Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical's Unit Gets Patent From Japan for Polypeptide Drug

Guangdong Zhongsheng Pharmaceutical's (SHE:002317) unit, Guangdong Zhong Sheng Ruichuang Biotechnology, received a patent certificate from Japan's patent regulator for a method for a polypeptide drug, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shenzhen bourse.

The patent is for the medicinal use of a polypeptide as a treatment and prevention for diabetes, obesity and related diseases.

This patent is a core patent covering the company's investigational innovative polypeptide drug RAY1225 Injection.
