Zhongji Innolight's (HKG:3308, SHE:300308) shares opened 1% below the offer price in a muted Hong Kong debut on Thursday morning.
The optical interconnect service provider opened at HK$971 per share, compared with the offer price of HK$980.
Innolight raised about HK$53 billion in net proceeds from its Hong Kong initial public offering.
The deal marks Hong Kong's largest share sale since Alibaba's 2019 listing and Asia's second-largest IPO this year, trailing CXMT's $8.6 billion listing in Shanghai.
