Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power to Invest in Nuclear Power Plant JV with CGN Power

Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power (SHA:600023) will invest 3.5 million yuan in phase 3 of a joint venture helmed by CGN Power (SHE:003816, HKG:1816) that will construct a nuclear power plant, according to a Thursday after-hours filing with the Shanghai bourse.

CGN Cangnan No. 3 Nuclear Power will construct units 5 and 6 of the San'ao Nuclear Power Plant in Zhejiang Province, China.

Zheneng's investment is equivalent to 7% of the 900-million-yuan JV. Other shareholders include CGN Power, owning 51% of the JV, and Hangzhou First Applied Material (SHA:603806) with 4%.

ST Group Food (SGX:DRX) said liquidators have issued their final notice and report to the creditors for the liquidation of GCTea 2B and GCTea 2A, according to a Wednesday filing to the Singapore stock exchange.The liquidators also plan to file the 'Notice of Final Account' before the dissolution.Last year, the company decided to liquidate GCTea 2B and GCTea 2A as part of its strategic plans to exit from the Gong Cha Brand in the United Kingdom.
