Zhejiang Chint Electrics (SHA:601877) attributable profit rose 22% to 3.13 billion yuan in the first half from 2.56 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Earnings per share at the low-voltage electrical products maker increased to 1.47 yuan from 1.19 yuan in the prior-year period.
Operating revenue grew 28% year over year to 38.1 billion yuan from 29.6 billion yuan.
Directors declared a dividend of 0.50 yuan per 10 shares, or 0.05 yuan per share.
Shares rose 10% in afternoon trading on Thursday.
