Zeotech's (ASX:ZEO) methane control program results showed that the company's zeoteCH4 technology reduced methane emissions by an average of 92% compared with untreated control areas over the initial monitoring period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Griffith University is undertaking the on-site trial at the North Burnett Regional Council landfill in Queensland, confirming that the program is progressing as planned, with early results "exceeding" expectations, the filing said.
The first monitoring period spans from March 18 to April 30, with monitoring continuing until early August, per the filing.
