Yunnan Yuntianhua (SHA:600096), through subsidiary Polyphosphate New Materials, plans to construct a phosphate mine for 8.17 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Saturday.
The fertilizer manufacturer's shares fell 2% at the close of Monday's trade.
The mine in China's Wanchang Phosphate Mine will have a production capacity of 10 million tons of phosphate every year.
