Yunnan Lincang Xinyuan Germanium Industry (SHE:002428) posted a 235% jump in first-half attributable net profit to 74.3 million yuan from 22.1 million yuan the previous year.
Earnings per share climbed to 0.11 yuan from 0.03 yuan, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Revenue at the germanium miner increased 38.2% year over year to 731.8 million yuan from 529.5 million yuan.
Shares of the company were down over 1% in afternoon trade Friday.
Kawan Renergy (KLSE:KENERGY) unit Magenko Renewables (Ipoh) received approval from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia for a 2.5-megawatt biomass power plant under the 2026 Feed-in Tariff system, according to a Thursday Malaysian bourse filing.The project has an installed capacity of 2.5 megawatts, and net export capacity of 2 megawatts. The Feed-in Tariff is scheduled to commence on Aug. 17, 2029, and run for 21 years.The basic tariff is 0.38 ringgit per kilowatt-hour for the first 10 years, and 0.288 ringgit per kilowatt-hour for the remaining period.The project will be financed through IPO proceeds and bank financing, it said.
SBI Holdings (TYO:8473) plans to purchase a 20% stake in Indonesia-based online brokerage Ajaib Group for $270 million by the end of August, making the latter an equity-method affiliate, Nikkei Asia reported Friday.Ajaib offers online brokerage, foreign-exchange margin trading, cryptocurrency and asset management services.
