Yunnan Aluminium's Q1 Profit Soars 269%, Revenue Rises 14%

-- Yunnan Aluminium's (SHE:000807) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first quarter soared 269% year on year to 3.60 billion yuan, or 1.038 yuan per share, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Friday.

The attributable profit a year earlier was 974.4 million yuan, or 0.281 yuan per share.

Operating revenue rose 14% to 16.4 billion yuan from 14.4 billion yuan in the prior year.

The aluminum products manufacturer's shares rose less than 2% during the morning trade.
