Yunnan Aluminium's H1 Profit Soars 178%, Revenue Rises 20%

Yunnan Aluminium's (SHE:000807) net profit attributable to shareholders in the first half soared 178% to 7.68 billion yuan from 2.77 billion yuan a year ago, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Friday.

Earnings per share jumped year on year to 2.22 yuan from 0.80 yuan.

Operating revenue rose 20% to almost 35 billion yuan from 29.1 billion yuan in the previous year.

The aluminum company proposed distributing a cash dividend of 8.87 yuan per 10 shares to shareholders.

The company's shares rose 1% during the afternoon trade.

SBI Holdings (TYO:8473) plans to purchase a 20% stake in Indonesia-based online brokerage Ajaib Group for $270 million by the end of August, making the latter an equity-method affiliate, Nikkei Asia reported Friday.Ajaib offers online brokerage, foreign-exchange margin trading, cryptocurrency and asset management services.
