Yum China Logs 14% Boost in Q2 Profit

Yum China Holdings (HKG:9987) recorded attributable net income of $244 million in the second quarter of 2026, up 14% from $215 million in the year-ago period.

Earnings per share increased to $0.70 in the three months from $0.58 previously, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Revenue climbed 13% to $3.14 billion from $2.79 billion in the year-ago period.

For the first half of 2026, attributable net income increased 9% year over year to $553 million, while revenue jumped 11% to $6.41 billion.

The company declared a cash dividend of $0.29 per share, payable Sept. 17 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 27.
