Yuanta Financial Unit Wins NT$14 Million Breach of Trust Case Against Ex Employee

-- Yuanta Financial (TPE:2885) unit Yuanta Securities Investment Trust has won a Supreme Court ruling awarding NT$14.1 million plus interest in a breach of trust case against former employee Chiu, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.

Shares gained over 1% in Wednesday's midday trade.

The court partially reversed a prior Taiwan High Court decision that had rejected the claim.

Yuanta Securities Investment Trust, which initiated the lawsuit in 2022, said it will consult legal counsel on next steps following the judgment.
