The Yokohama Rubber Co. (TYO:5101) posted a 104% year-over-year rise in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 72.6 billion yen in the first half of 2026 from 35.5 billion yen.
The manufacturer's earnings per share increased to 460.16 yen from 224.21 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Monday.
Sales revenues jumped 10% to 639.4 billion yen from 579.2 billion yen in the year-ago period.
For the full year, the company raised its forecast for attributable profit to 117 billion yen from 109 billion yen, basic EPS to 744.11 yen from 693.36, and sales revenues to 1.320 trillion yen from 1.300 trillion yen.
The company also revised the year-end dividend to 136 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
