Hong Kong-listed shares of the Chinese cable manufacturer were down over 12% in Thursday afternoon trading while China-listed shares were down 4%.
Earnings per share rose to 0.60 yuan from 0.20 yuan in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Operating income surged 28% to 3.7 billion yuan from 2.89 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
