Yangtze Optical Fibre And Cable (SHA:601869) will purchase the remaining 25% stake in joint venture YOFC Shanghai from Dutch company Draka Comteq for 12 million euros, according to a Friday disclosure to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Upon completion, the listed company will hold 100% of the stake in YOFC Shanghai and will then become a wholly owned subsidiary.
YOFC Shanghai manufactures optical fiber and cable components and materials.
Shares rose 7% during the midday break on Friday.
