XPLR Infrastructure, owner of clean energy infrastructure assets, said Tuesday it has completed around 50% of its planned "repowerings" for the year, as part of its capital plan.
It has also formed the Mammoth Plains Energy Storage and Carousel Energy Storage joint ventures and completed associated sales of interconnection assets and rights in July, advancing its battery storage co-investment agreement with NextEra Energy Resources, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy (NEE).
The company aims to maintain discipline in capital allocation and continue exploring contract optimization opportunities.
XPLR's operating portfolio currently consists of 8.07 gigawatts of net wind capacity and 273.7 megawatts of net storage capacity.
