Hubei Xingfa Chemicals (SHA:600141) plans to raise proceeds worth up to 3 billion yuan from a share placement, according to a weekend disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
The Chinese chemical manufacturer's shares jumped 5% during Monday's afternoon trade.
The proceeds will be used for the funding of the Qiaogou Phosphate Mine project and the repayment of bank loans.
The company plans to place up to 360,521,957 shares, representing up to 30% of the company's total shares, to up to 35 investors.
