Ximei Resources (HKG:9936) expects attributable profit for the first half of 2026 to increase to about 163.9 million yuan to 200.3 million yuan, from 91.8 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The resources company attributed the expected increase mainly to stronger market demand for metal products, which drove higher production and sales volumes, and to improved gross profit margins.
Shares of the firm were down more than 2% in Thursday morning trade.
