Xerox Shares Rise After Starteepo Invest Discloses Stake

Xerox Holdings (XRX) shares rose 12% in Friday trading after alternative investment fund Starteepo Invest acquired 6.6 million shares of the business-equipment maker, representing a 5.05% stake.

Starteepo said Friday in a statement it "may engage in discussions with Xerox's management and board of directors regarding the company's business, strategy, capital structure, and opportunities to enhance shareholder value."
