WuXi AppTec Contains Data Breach on DNA-Encoded Library Platform

WuXi AppTec's (HKG:2359) biology business segment contained a cybersecurity breach involving unauthorized access on its DNA-encoded library platform, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The drug research and development company said it found no evidence that other systems were compromised or that the accessed data was misused or published.

WuXi AppTec has notified the affected customers. The incident did not disrupt the company's normal operations, IT systems, or client services, it added.

ANZ Says Customer Scam Losses Fall Around 24% Between June, October 2025

ANZ Group Holdings (NZE:ANZ, ASX:ANZ) said Monday its customer scam losses fell by around 24% year over year for the period between June and October 2025.The bank said in a statement that it prevented and recovered over AU$100 million in scam and fraud-related funds. Over 476,000 payments were abandoned after a Confirmation of Payee mismatch warning during this period, it added.The bank's New Zealand shares added 1% in recent Monday trade.
