Worley Awarded Contracts by BHP for South Australia Project Expansion

Worley (ASX:WOR) said BHP Group (ASX:BHP) awarded the firm contracts to provide study and engineering, and procurement and construction management (EPCM) services for expansion projects at the Olympic Dam and Carrapateena projects in South Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The expansion projects remain subject to final investment decision by BHP.

Worley will deliver study and EPCM services across multiple project phases for potential block cave development and associated infrastructure at Olympic Dam, and the potential expansion of Carrapateena's underground operations and processing infrastructure.

Worley's shares climbed 2% in recent trading on Monday.
