Worker Dies After Wasp Sting at Hyundai IPark Construction Site

Ipark Hyundai Development (KRX:294870) said a worker has died following a wasp sting at the Neunggok District 5 housing redevelopment project site, according to a serious industrial accident filing on Tuesday.

The accident occurred on July 24, when the worker, who was installing dust and falling object prevention measures on scaffolding, was stung by a wasp inside a scaffold pipe and subsequently fell unconscious due to breathing difficulties.

The worker passed away on Aug. 8, while receiving treatment, with the company reporting the incident to the Ministry of Employment and Labor on the same day.
