Wistron Corp (TPE:3231) has launched a $700 million manufacturing facility in Texas, USA to produce the US chipmaker Nvidia's latest AI systems, according to a Tuesday statement.
The company's shares were up nearly 10% in Wednesday's trade.
This is Wistron's first US-based manufacturing facility, which has been set up to serve customers locally and produce NVIDIA's products.
At present, the company produces NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Superchip in the unit and has plans to produce the NVIDIA Vera Rubin Superchip there.
