Wisdom Marine Lines Co (TPE:2637) has cancelled an order worth up to $70.8 million for the acquisition of two bulk carriers from shipbuilder Naikai Zosen, according to a Monday filing to the Taiwan stock exchanges.
In March 2025, the company had initially agreed to acquire two 39,000 deadweight-tonnage bulk carriers for around $35.4 million each from Naikai Zosen.
The purchase did not go through as the parties did not reach a consensus, Wisdom said in the filing.
As the agreement was not executed and no payment was made, no material impact is expected on the company's financial or business operations.
The dry bulk carrier operator's shares were up 2% in recent trade.
