Wingtech Technology Secures Asset Freeze Order in Dutch Discrimination Suit

Wingtech Technology (SHA:600745) said a Guangdong court has frozen 2.14 billion yuan worth of assets held by Nexperia and ITEC, including equity in four Chinese Nexperia subsidiaries.

The freeze, granted Aug. 28 in the ongoing 8-billion-yuan tort case, follows Wingtech Technology's claims that Dutch parties enforced discriminatory restrictions, causing "irreparable and substantial losses," according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The chipmaker said the case is yet to be heard and the financial impact is uncertain.

Shares of Wingtech Technology were down 2% in recent trade.

Under the expanded agreement, MediaTek will adopt Nvidia's NVLink Fusion platform, designed to help hyperscalers, cloud providers, and AI model developers build custom accelerator chips that connect into Nvidia's rack-scale data center systems.The pact also entails enhancing existing collaboration on Nvidia RTX Spark and DGX Spark chips for consumer and enterprise PCs, as well as AI-powered automotive platforms built around MediaTek's Dimensity Auto line.
