Windey Energy Technology (SHE:300772) will invest 1.45 billion yuan in the Fengzhen 264.5-megawatt green power project in Inner Mongolia, China, according to a Monday aftermarket filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
The project, comprising 214.5 megawatts of wind and 50 megawatts of solar capacity, will install 30 wind turbines and solar modules with energy storage and a new substation.
About 80% of funding will come from bank loans.
Shares of the renewable energy company closed 1% lower Tuesday.
