Willfar Information Technology Wins Two Bids Worth 46 Billion Yuan in August

Willfar Information Technology (SHA:688100) won two bids worth 46.4 million yuan in August, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The tech company won a bid to supply, commission, and install a distributed energy resources management system for Zambian Electricity Company worth $4.95 million, equivalent to 33.5 million yuan.

Willfar also won a materials procurement bid for State Grid Shanghai Electric Power worth 12.8 million yuan.

Company shares fell 1% during afternoon trading on Wednesday.

Viva Goods Ups Stake in Sportswear Giant Li Ning

Viva Goods (HKG:0933) has purchased 29.6 million shares of Chinese sportswear giant Li Ning (HKG:2331) for HK$398.4 million as an investment, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.The company said it bought the shares through open market transactions at an average price of HK$13.45 apiece.Following the transaction, Viva's stakeholding in Li Ning rose to 16.9%, with ownership of 437.2 million shares.
