White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) said results from its regional expansion drilling at the Danvers system at its Rae copper project in Canada confirmed a significant new high-grade copper discovery outside the main Teshierpi Fault Zone, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered an intercept of 79.24 meters at 1.59% grade of copper from 67.06 meters. Diamond drilling will begin at Danvers to follow up on discoveries of high-grade copper mineralization within the Teshierpi Fault Zone.
Its shares climbed 4% in recent trading on Wednesday.
