Westgold Resources (ASX:WGX) surpassed its fiscal year 2026 guidance with gold production of 387,354 ounces, while its all-in sustaining cost (AISC) for the year was within guidance at AU$2,841 per ounce, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company reported fiscal fourth-quarter gold production of 98,854 ounces at an AISC of AU$2,802 per ounce.
Westgold achieved record mining rates at the Bluebird South-Junction complex in Western Australia in the fiscal fourth quarter, with annualized mining rates beyond 1 million tonnes per annum at the end of the period.
The company posted a fiscal fourth-quarter underlying cash build of AU$233 million. It ended June with AU$939 million in closing cash, bullion, and liquid investments, an increase of AU$575M year on year.
