West Cobar Metals (ASX:WC1) expanded its Cobar Basin exploration footprint in New South Wales after the grant of EL9915, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The expanded land position, covering roughly 1,090 square kilometers of prospective tenure, includes gravity and geochemical targets likely indicating concealed copper mineralization, the filing said.
The company plans to undertake gravity surveys, rotary air blast drilling and reverse circulation drilling programs in priority target areas during this fiscal year, per the filing.
