West African Resources (ASX:WAF) logged AU$0.305 in earnings per share for the first half, compared with AU$0.162 a year ago, a Thursday filing showed.
For the six months ended June 30, revenue from continuing operations was AU$1.46 billion versus AU$477.3 million previously, the Australia-listed gold producer and exploration firm added.
The board declared a special dividend of AU$0.20 per share, payable Oct. 7 to shareholders as of Sept. 18.
