Wenfeng Great World Chairman Proposes 120 Million Yuan Share Buyback; Shares Slide 5%

Wenfeng Great World Chain Development's (SHA:601010) chairman, Wang Yue, proposed to repurchase the company's shares worth between 80 million yuan and 120 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.

The share buyback will be implemented within 12 months after the board of directors' approval.

The retail chain operator's shares dropped nearly 5% during the midday trade.

Sichuan Jiuyuan Yinhai Software.(SHE:002777) said its two largest shareholders are planning to sell some of their stakes, totaling 25%, in the company.Jiuyuan Group plans to sell 17.16% of the company, while Ruifeng Group intends to offload another 7.84%, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.Both sellers are wholly state-owned units of the China Academy of Engineering Physics.Shares of the software developer jumped 10% in recent trade.

MSCI Purges Six Indonesian Firms from Standard Index; No New Additions

MSCI revised its standard index through the removal of six Indonesian stocks without adding any new constituents, according to a list posted by MSCI Tuesday.The removed stocks comprise Amman Mineral Internasional (IDX:AMMN), Barito Renewables Energy (IDX:BREN), Chandra Asri Pacific (IDX:TPIA), Dian Swastatika Sentosa (IDX:DSSA), Petrindo Jaya Kreasi (IDX:CUAN), and Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (IDX:AMRT).MSCI added Sumber Alfaria Trijaya to its Indonesia Small Cap Index, while 13 Indonesian stocks were removed, according to a separate list posted on the MSCI site.The MSCI Indonesia Micro Cap Index remained unchanged.
