Waratah Minerals Says New South Wales Project Drilling Confirms Eastward, Down-Plunge Extension of Mineralized System; Shares Down 4%

Waratah Minerals (ASX:WTM) said growth and extensional drilling at the Consols zone at the Spur project in New South Wales confirmed an eastward and down-plunge extension of the broad mineralized system, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

It also identified a previously unrecognized zone of shallow, high-grade gold mineralization. It hit intercepts of 12.7 meters at 1.35 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 44 meters, as well as 23.5 meters at 2.12 g/t grade of gold from 563 meters.

Its shares fell nearly 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
