Wantai Biological Pharmacy HPV Vaccine Gains Nationwide Access; Shares Up 5%

Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise (SHA:603392) announced that its nine-valent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine, Cecolin 9, has completed market access across the 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China, excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

The vaccine has entered about 2,300 CDC centers and covers about 13,000 vaccination points nationwide, according to a Sunday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Shares of the drugmaker rose nearly 5% in recent trade.
