Volare Shipping Mulls Up to $500 Million Private Placement Ahead of Euronext Growth Oslo Listing

Volare Shipping said Monday that it is considering an up to $500 million private placement of new shares ahead of a planned listing on Euronext Growth Oslo.

The oil carrier operator will offer the shares at 154 Norwegian kroner via bookbuilding that will run from Monday through Wednesday, with settlement scheduled for Oct. 5. The placement will also have a retail tranche of 999,999 euros at the same offer price.

Net proceeds from the share sale will be used for Volare's newbuilding program, debt reduction initiatives, working capital, transaction costs and general corporate expenditures.

The company intends to submit its application to list on the bourse on Sept. 28, with the trading debut expected by Oct. 5.
