Vita Life Sciences' (ASX:VLS) shareholders approved an on-market share buyback of up to 15% of the share capital of the firm at the annual general meeting on May 28, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It currently has 54.2 million total shares on issue.
It will evaluate market conditions and the share price, as it plans to continue to buy back shares in the year ahead.
Shares rose 2% in recent trading on Monday.
