VinFast Auto has appointed chairman Pham Nhat Quan Anh as global CEO, replacing his father, Pham Nhat Vuong, the founder of the electric-vehicle manufacturer, the Nasdaq-listed company said Saturday.
Pham Nhat Quan Anh was appointed chairman of VinFast in May and will now take over the company's global operations. He will continue to serve as chairman and CEO of its Vietnam business.
In addition to his top leadership role at VinFast, Pham Nhat Quan Anh will continue to serve as CEO of VinMetal Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company.
