Viewtrix Technology's (HKG:3310) shares opened 22.4% above their initial public offering price in a strong Hong Kong debut on Wednesday morning.

The Chinese AMOLED display driver integrated circuit designer opened at HK$25.48 per share, compared with the offer price of HK$20.81.

Manulife Financial Prices SG$500 Million Debt Offering

Manulife Financial (HKG:0945, PSE:MFC) priced an offering in Singapore of SG$500 million subordinated notes due June 4, 2036, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.The notes will bear interest at a fixed rate of 2.88% until June 4, 2031, and 0.931% plus the then-prevailing five-year SORA OIS rate thereafter until maturity.The debt offering is expected to close on June 4.

HSBC Issues Australian Dollar Senior Unsecured Bonds

HSBC (HKG:0005) issued senior unsecured notes under its AU$50 billion debt issuance program, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.The offering includes AU$450 million fixed-to-floating rate senior unsecured notes due May 2032, AU$400 million fixed-to-floating rate senior unsecured notes due May 2037, and AU$550 million floating rate senior unsecured notes due May 2032.The bank applied to list the notes on Euronext Dublin and for trading on its Global Exchange Market.
