Vantone Neo Development Cites No New Data to Justify 20% Stock Drop

Vantone Neo Development (SHA:600246) warned investors that it experienced an abnormal stock price fluctuation for three consecutive trading days but found no material information that could have caused the stocks' cumulative deviation, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.

The real estate developer's closing stock price dropped 20% on July 17, July 20 and July 21.

The company conducted an internal review and found that it has no undisclosed information, reports or rumors and other factors that could have caused the unusual stock movement.

Vantone's shares rose 2% during the afternoon trade.
