Valeura Energy reported its Q2 operational update on Thursday, showing sales of 2.5 million barrels of oil at an average realized price of $105.80 per barrel.
Valeura's working interest production averaged 22,300 barrels per day in Q2 2026. Working interest basis essentially means the company's ownership share of total field production, before accounting for royalties owed to other parties.
The average production rate fell short of the FactSet analyst estimate of 24,000 b/d.
Valeura Energy said inventory held in floating storage declined to 793,000 bbls as of June 30. Of the total 2.5 mmbbls sold in Q2 2026, about 1.2 mmbbls came from floating storage.
The Canadian firm achieved two drilling milestones at its Nong Yao field in the Gulf of Thailand, completing the longest horizontal lateral drilled in the basin and Thailand's first complex multi-lateral development well.
Valeura's full financial and operational results are scheduled for Aug. 6.
