VA Tech Wabag (NSE:WABAG, BOM:533269) has secured a "medium" order, valued between 1 billion Indian rupees and 2.50 billion rupees, from the Delhi Jal Board, India, according to a Friday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The contract is for the design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of a 17 million gallons per day wastewater treatment plant at Mitraon in Delhi, along with a sludge dewatering facility, pumping stations, and associated piping works.
The project will be completed within 21 months, followed by 15 years of operation and maintenance.
The company's shares were up nearly 4% in recent trade.
