Vår Energi to Sell Minority Stakes in Two Oil Fields on Norwegian Continental Shelf

Vår Energi (VAR.OL) agreed to sell minority equity interests in the Goliat and Fenja oil fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for up to $350 million.

The upstream oil and gas company will sell a 20% stake in the Goliat field to Polish energy group Orlen's (PKN.WA) Orlen Upstream Norway subsidiary and a 25% interest in the Fenja field to oil exploration services company Concedo, according to a Thursday release. It will retain a 45% and 50% equity interest in the fields, respectively.

Vår Energi expects to finalize the deals in the second half of 2026, subject to customary authority approvals.
