USP's (SGX:BRS) unit Supratechnic (M) has started legal proceedings against former employees Kan Bright Pan and Yip Siew Hong, along with certain other parties, in the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, according to a Friday Singapore Exchange filing.
According to earlier filings, Supratechnic (M) terminated the employment of Kan Bright Pan and Yip Siew Hong on March 26, 2025, after an internal investigation found they had breached their duties as employees. Later in May of the same year, they were removed as directors of the subsidiary.
The case has its first case management scheduled for Aug. 17, said the company, which is under judicial management.
USP said it will provide further updates as material developments arise.
