US weekly ethanol production dropped slightly compared with a week ago, according to the US Energy Information Administration report on Thursday.
For the week ending Sep. 4, US ethanol production averaged 1.10 million barrels per day, compared with last week's 1.11 mmb/d, and down from last year's 1.11 mmb/d. The four-week average output of 1.10 mmb/d was above 1.08 mmb/d at the same time last year.
