US Senator Richard Blumenthal on Friday called on the Federal Trade Commission to stop food delivery applications from imposing allegedly "undisclosed, deceptive" fees on consumers.
In a post on social media platform X, Blumenthal claimed that the said fees raise food prices by an average of 80%.
The FTC did not immediately respond to' request for a comment.
