U.S. export controls on semiconductors did not form part of the discussion with Presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping in Beijing, Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said in an interview Friday.
"This was not a major topic of discussion at the bilateral meeting. We did not talk about chip export controls at the meeting," Greer said in an interview with Bloomberg.
The CEOs who joined Trump in Beijing only spoke about company issues, Greer said.
